Updated due to recent events and requests.
So you want to join Bolla Di Sapone? Hold on there! Before you join, and after you join, there's a few things you should know about. These little things are called rules. The rules of Bolla Di Sapone are the following, in no particular order.
No Swearing: Speaks for itself. You can have it slightly censored like "d**n" or "h#ll", but that's it. Swear too much, censored or not, and you'll get a warning from the mods (or admins), or even banned (saying *bleep* instead of a swear word is the only exception allowed). This counts for usernames, too!
No Spamming: So what's spamming? That's basically posting pointless stuff all over and over again. It's not allowed in BDS, and it ain't allowed in any site! So please don't. Be patient, because none of us, not even you, are post-many-posts-a-day-every-day-robots.
No Content Higher Than PG-13: The age factor plays a big role here, so get used to it now. Keep all role playing and OOC language under PG-13, or an admin/mod will have to take action. This is here for a reason, so don't abuse it.
Post in the Right Forums: Basically, that means post IC posts in the IC forums, and OOC posts in the OOC forum. Any posts that are not in the right forum will be moved to the correct forum. We will not try to delete posts unless they are totally useless.
You Must Join an Element: After creating a character, you must either choose to be in an Element (Dark, Fire, Ice, Spectra, Earth, Air, Water, or Bubble), or be an Outcast. Please remember to join an Element IC (in character).
Limited Battle Powers: Okay this has been revised from the original. You are allowed to have minor magics, but we will still give out Spells that are actually more powerful. But these will be rare since every one is able to have some kind of power... For instance fire magic for a mage character; simple enough elemental magic for a sorcerer.
Weapons: Your weapons can be normal weapons. No magic in them, and if there is, it has to be minor, and okied by myself or another admin. Items like bracers that allow flight are allowed, and things that are not that powerful, but can help your character, are too.
No Shapeshifters: This means no transforming into different creatures at will. Only if you posses the special items granted by the Goddess (Wolfy) or Lords will you be able to do so. Although, creature form to humanoid form is fine, but that's it. Say if you are a griffon, you are able to turn into a human with this power, but that is all.
No Godplay or Powerplay: So what are they, if you don't know? Godplay is roleplaying a character that has no weaknesses, cannot die, or is all-powerful. That is NOT allowed at all and it is one of the most serious offences on the site. Powerplaying is roleplaying someone else's character. That is not allowed, either.
Be Polite (added due to flame wars): It explains itself. Don't be rude to newbies. Gently point it out when someone makes a mistake. And take flame wars somewhere else - we don't wanna see them.
No Begging: Once again, self-explanitory. Don't beg the admins or mods (that includes Jumon) for weapons, spells, etc. We find it HIGHLY annoying. You would too, so... don't.
On joining Bolla Di Sapone you agree to these rules, and breaking them means you'll be banned. We, as admins and moderators, will take most situations in consideration, but if the problem persists, the admins will have no choice but to delete your account.

You will need, in a separate post, in the Joining Board, (at least) the following:
Name: What your character will be called in the Kingdom of Bolla. It doesn't have to include a full name, though.
Species: Again, this doesn't have to be a real species, but it can if you want. If it's a species that's copyright someone famous, say so.
Character Description: Just a little biography about your character. Hobbies, strengths, origin, looks, etc. Don't worry, you don't have to write much if you don’t want to. A paragraph is plenty! 
Element: Pre-pick which Element/Outcast you would like to be in. Remember that you might not always be chosen in that Element/Outcast. Some Leaders are picky, you know.
Alright, so that's all the rules. Seem hard? Not by a long shot! Be thankful we aren’t super strict like some boards. It'll be hard at first, but don’t worry: you'll get it soon! Our job here is to make the RPing experience more enjoyable. And that's what we’re going to do.
